When it comes to saving money
One of my favorite ways to earn points, and save money on my grocery bill, is printing coupons from home. MyPoints has a special deal with Coupons.com to allow you to find grocery store coupons and print them when you need them. If you join coupons.com thru MyPoints, MyPoints will give you points for signing up. As long as you sign in to your MyPoints account before you print coupons each time, you'll earn 10 points for each coupon you print and redeem. Each month that you print and redeem at least 5 of these coupons, you'll earn an extra 25 points to your MyPoints account. That's 75 easy points for saving some money on 5 items you were going to buy anyway.
One of the coupons I printed recently was for a free 10 x 13 wall portrait from Sears. The sitting fee is waived if you are already a Smile Saver member. If you're not a member, you only have to pay a sitting fee of $14.95 and the coupon can be combined with their trial portrait package ($9.99) which includes 1-8x10, 2-5x7, 16 wallets, and 16 minis. That's a total of 35 portraits for about $25 plus tax. I'll be using it soon since my father-in-law wants an updated family photo for Father's Day.
MyPoints has hundreds of merchants you're familiar with so, whether you're shopping for Dads and Grads, or shopping for groceries, why not get rewarded for your online purchases by Joining MyPoints and visiting the same store(s) thru their link. Some of these merchants offer 3 to 10 points for every dollar you spend! At this time of year, that could be quite a savings.
MyPoints also pays you to read their emails. Most of the emails they send are based on the interests you select when you sign up and are worth 5 points each. Some emails have higher value and can be worth a few hundred to a few thousand points each depending on the offer. It's easy to build your points just clicking on their emails. You can get a $10 gift card sent to you when you redeem as as low as 1500 points. Since each of the emails is worth 5 points each, this works out to a $10 reward for reading 300 emails or just over $0.03 per email. If you happen to catch some of their survey emails worth 50 to 300 points each, it would be much faster.
This site has a 10 year history of rewarding their members and finding the best possible savings on a wide range of products. I have received several giftcards from this site already and once received a $20 giftcard when we purchased my mother-in-laws computer as a gift. Each redemption is handled quickly and typically received within weeks of requesting it.
